Compound Interest Calculator
Project investment growth with compound interest and optional recurring contributions.
- Future Value

- Total Contributions
- ₹0.00
- Total Interest
- ₹628.89
How it works
Enter a starting principal, annual interest rate, time in years, and how often interest compounds. Optionally add a contribution made at the end of every compounding period. The calculator applies the standard compound-interest formula (with an annuity term for recurring contributions) entirely in your browser to project the future value, total contributed, and total interest earned.

- What does "compounding frequency" mean?
- It is how often interest is calculated and added to the balance each year — for example, monthly compounding (12) applies interest 12 times a year instead of once.
- How are recurring contributions handled?
- Each contribution is assumed to be added at the end of a compounding period, then earns interest for the remaining periods, just like a regular savings or retirement account.
